Alumni Legacy Award

To honor alumni, and in support of the worldwide network of proud Michigan Tech graduates, the University has established the Alumni Legacy Award. This award is granted to all accepted, non-Michigan applicants who are the children or grandchildren of Michigan Tech alumni. The Alumni Legacy Award provides a unique opportunity for alumni and their children and grandchildren to significantly benefit through their life-long relationships with the Michigan Tech family.

Value: Alumni Legacy Award is equal to the difference between nonresident and resident tuition.

Applicant Qualifications:

• Children or grandchildren of Michigan Tech alumni
• Successful admission to Michigan Tech
• Non-Michigan resident

The Alumni Legacy Award is granted to all accepted applicants who meet the above qualifications. If you are eligible, submit your application for admission to Michigan Tech, indicating names of parents or grandparents who are Michigan Tech alumni; a separate scholarship application is not required. Alumni Legacy Awards have been available to new, incoming students beginning in summer 2000.
