Every year, the variety of events and programs are organized during daytime and events. All of these events are open for the university community and general public. This year, IPS plans to offer and co-sponsor the following events/celebrations:

Monday - Thursday, November 12 - 15
"Taste of Cultures": MUB
(normal lunch charges apply)

    Wednesday, November 14
    World Forum
    "Peace Corps and Service Learning: What is it and why should you do it?"

    West Lounge, McNair Hall

    Wednesday Evening
    International Food Festival
    6:30 pm
    Memorial Union Ballroom
    Enjoy international dishes and a fashion show and listen to perspectives about global diversity.
    Awards will go to the top winners of the International Education Week Reflection Paper Contest and the Study Abroad Photo Contest.
    Tickets are $8.00 for the eneral public and students and can be purchased in the lobby of Fisher Hall, the MUB Commons, or by contacting Donisha Das at dadas@mtu.edu.

 In addition, throughout the week, international students and scholars representing 72 cultures of the world will wear their ethnic and national costumes.  University administration, faculty and staff will wear T-Shirts and ties signifying international themes.
